General Information

Enrollment is done at an interview with the parent(s), child and staff.  Your application must be accompanied with a  non-refundable registration fee and the first week tuition fee.  A copy of your child's physical and immunization record is also required.

Withdrawal or Schedule Change:  A two week notice is required for all withdrawals or schedule changes.  Tuition balances will be figured on the date of withdrawal.

Tuition: Tuition is due on Friday prior to the week for which services are rendered.  If there is a payment problem, please contact the Executive Director or the business office.  Payment is required for the program holidays, as well as when your child is otherwise absent.

We have income eligible slots available and accept vouchers.

Behavior Management: Whenever possible, we help children resolve conflicts and/or problems by themselves with our supervision.  If it is necessary for a teacher to intervene, they will do so in an effort to be as fair as possible.  Unabridged behavior policies are given to parents at enrollment time.

Sickness: Please keep your child home if he/she has a fever, diarrhea, vomiting or any communicable illness and notify the school.  If you do bring your child to a doctor, a note is required before your child can return to school.  If your child becomes ill or has a fever in school we will call you to pick him/her up or send an authorized alternate.  ** A 24-hour period is required until children may return to school. **  In case of an emergency, a teacher will go with your child to the hospital and we will call parents/guardians to meet us there.

Medication: We will only administer prescription medication in the original container.  Over-the-counter medication will only be administered when accompanied by written instructions from a child's physician and written approval from parent/guardian.

Files: A written file for each child is kept at school.  The information in your child's file is confidential.  You can review your child's file at anytime.

Progress Reports: Written progress reports are completed twice a year.  At that time and any time during the year, you may request a conference.

Clothing: We go outside everyday, year-round, weather permitting.  Please be sure your child is dressed in appropriate clothing.  A full set of extra clothing will be kept at school for your child.
